About All Star Fireworks

It all began in 1947 when an 11 year kid took $30 worth of fireworks his uncle had bought him and set up shop in a ditch in Mitchell, South Dakota.  That kid was Cam Starr.

Cam was hooked and eventually grew a vast fireworks empire stretching across North & South Dakota.  His business included retail, wholesale and manufacturing of Consumer & Display Fireworks.  At the high point of his career, he would import 50+ containers of fireworks a year.

Sadly, Cam passed away in 2014.  However, his spirit, knowledge & love of fireworks continues on in our stores and business today.
